After you create an Ebay and Paypal account you have to start thinking about the items you are going to sell. There are two methods of buying your merchandise for your business. you can either buy them at auctions for cheap or buy wholesale prices. Each method has their advantages and disadvantages.

Reasons for buying items at auctions: PROS: The items are very cheap and can be sold for a staggering profit, items are always new and very good quality.Cons: can only buy one at a time, usually have to buy bids and sometimes do not get the item even after wasting the bids, slightly time consuming.

Reasons for buying wholesale: PROS: receiving a lot of inventory at once, push products faster CONS: less profits per sale, more of orders for less profit, constantly buying more inventory and shipping out.

Each method has their ups and downs but personally I use the auction sites. I might not get a lot of inventory but it is easier for me to make more money per transaction. The best auction sites i found were Swoopo.com and Biduh.com. They were easy to use and did not have as much competition as other auction sites had. I used Swoopo and my usual figures looked like the ones shown below. I only bought expensive electronics sold them at very good prices to move them fast.

The one other method of making money on Ebay is drop shipping which is not very profitable or fun. Drop shipping is when someone lists an item and sells it on ebay then orders it form a website to ship to the customer. The seller then keeps the profit. To make any real money this way you have to sell an unimaginable amount of goods which then becomes closer to a full time job without the salary. It is possible you just have to find the right products to sell where there is a decent profit to be made. The more realistic ways to make the most money on Ebay are through auctions and wholesales!
